Who Can Apply? Eligibility Explained Simply

For regular in-service teachers (Primary & Upper Primary):
Teachers currently working in state government, local body, or government-aided schools at primary or upper-primary level. You will need to provide your eHRMS code where applicable.

For Special Educators (CWSN):

• Primary level: Graduation + D.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent recognised by RCI + active CRR number and RCI registration. Usually working on contractual/daily-wage basis.
• Upper Primary level: Graduation + B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent recognised by RCI + active CRR and RCI registration.

Age limit for contractual special educators is generally up to 60 years as on the exam date (3 November 2026). Always cross-check the detailed advertisement for exact conditions.

Educational qualifications broadly follow the usual NCTE norms for Paper I (Classes 1–5) and Paper II (Classes 6–8) — Senior Secondary / Graduation with required percentage + Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed., etc. The notification lists the accepted combinations clearly.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹1,000 (per level – Primary or Upper Primary)
• SC / ST: ₹500
• PwD (Divyang): ₹300
